The Nature
At The Nature, we are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and ensuring the integrity and quality of the research we publish. Our policies are guided by international best practices, including those outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Responsibilities of Authors
-
Authors must ensure that their submitted work is original, accurately reported, and properly cited.
-
Simultaneous submissions to multiple journals are strictly prohibited.

All contributors who have made a significant impact on the research should be appropriately credited.
-
Authors must be prepared to provide raw data if requested and retain such data after publication for a reasonable period.
Responsibilities of Editors
-
Editors must make fair and unbiased decisions based solely on the academic merit of the manuscripts and without discrimination.
-
Editors are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and must not disclose information about them to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, or other editorial advisers.
-
Editors must ensure that any suspected cases of misconduct, plagiarism, or unethical behavior are thoroughly investigated.
Responsibilities of Reviewers
-
Reviewers must provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback to assist authors in improving their manuscripts.
-
Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of the review process and must not share or use the manuscript content for personal advantage.
-
Reviewers must immediately disclose any conflict of interest that could affect the impartiality of their review.
Ethical Oversight
-
Cases involving unethical behavior, including plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, redundant publication, or undisclosed conflicts of interest, will be taken seriously.
-
When ethical breaches are identified, The Nature reserves the right to take appropriate corrective actions, including correction, retraction, or expressions of concern.
Human and Animal Rights
-
Research involving humans or animals must comply with institutional, national, and international guidelines.

All parties involved — authors, reviewers, and editors — must disclose any financial or non-financial conflicts of interest that could influence their actions.
Data Access and Retention
-
Authors may be asked to provide research data supporting their articles for editorial review and should be prepared to make such data publicly available if feasible.
Appeals and Complaints
-
Authors have the right to appeal editorial decisions.
-
Complaints regarding ethical misconduct will be addressed according to COPE guidelines.
