Climate change poses significant threats to ecosystems and human societies globally, creating a pressing need for accurate forecasting and predictive models. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative tool in enhancing climate change modeling by providing more precise predictions and enabling more efficient data processing. This paper explores the role of AI in climate change modeling, specifically focusing on its applications in prediction models, data assimilation, and decision-making processes. We discuss various AI techniques, such as machine learning, deep learning, and neural networks, and their integration into climate science to enhance the accuracy of climate models. Furthermore, we highlight challenges in data quality, computational resources, and the need for interdisciplinary approaches to fully harness AI's potential in climate predictions.
