Abstract

The human microbiome, a diverse community of microorganisms residing in and on the human body, has been recognized for its critical role in maintaining human health. Recent advancements in metagenomic technologies have provided a deeper understanding of the microbiome's composition, function, and its influence on various aspects of human health, including immunity, metabolism, and mental health. This article explores the latest findings from metagenomic studies and highlights the potential of AI-driven approaches in microbiome research. We also discuss the implications of microbiome therapies in personalized medicine and disease prevention.
