Abstract

Nanotechnology is emerging as a transformative discipline capable of addressing two of the most pressing global challenges of the 21st century: climate change and sustainable healthcare. This article explores the interdisciplinary applications of nanomaterials in designing climate-resilient healthcare systems and environmental sustainability strategies. By leveraging nanostructured materials for drug delivery, diagnostics, and renewable energy innovations, scientists and policymakers can develop integrated frameworks to combat climate-driven health risks and mitigate environmental degradation. The paper highlights recent advancements in nanotechnology for climate-resilient drug formulations, nanosensors for disease outbreak monitoring, nanostructured membranes for water purification, and nano-enabled energy storage systems. It also emphasizes the ethical, regulatory, and safety considerations required for the responsible adoption of nanotechnology in global healthcare and environmental governance. This article contributes to the dialogue on innovation-driven sustainability and outlines a roadmap for nanotechnology’s role in shaping a climate-resilient future.
